What's Mapsuite+ and what does it bring to me?
CAD packages are often developed for design purposes. In contradiction to this, Mapsuite+ has been developed by an experienced team of engineers which means that the development of Mapsuite+ started from a surveyor's point of view.

Survey
Mapsuite+ Survey is the basic module of Mapsuite+. It has all functionality the surveyor needs.

Earthworks
The Earthworks module consists of all the Survey functionality described above. On top of that it has the capability to calculate volumes from digital terrain models (DTM) and terrain cross sections.

Design
The Design module consists of all the Earthworks functionality. Next to that it offers the full power of Mapsuite+ road design. The difference is the possibility to create sec tion templates and to calculate volumes from theoretic sections according to terrain sections.
